  3. A kitten/cat sold to a household with other pets must be isolated for a period of 21 days
  4. It will be the responsibility of the Buyer to have the kitten/cat examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours after the pet was taken to a new home

  9. The Seller reserves the right to refuse providing health guarantee for sales to certain countries. Should it be a case, the Buyer will be notified in advance before proceeding with the deposit

Spay/Neuter Agreement (if applicable)
  1. In case no Breeding Rights were included as part of the sale, the Buyer agrees that the kitten will be spayed/neutered by the time the kitten reaches 5 lbs. of weight or no later than 6 months of age at the Buyer’s expense. The Seller should receive a proof of alteration from the Buyer immediately after that. This is a condition for Pedigree release and a mandatory requirement for the kitten sale
  2. As alternative to the above, the Seller offers an option for early spaying/neutering before the kitten is taken into a new home. If this option is chosen, the kitten will be subjected to alteration as soon as its weight and health condition allow to undergo the procedure safely. The kitten will then be kept in the Cattery for a full recovery period until the age of 14-16-weeks old
  3. The cost of the alteration is extra and is subject to change, depending on the Seller’s veterinarian’s fees. The additional cost will be shared with the Buyer and added to the kitten sale price. Pedigree certificate will be ready by the date of the kitten release
  4. The Buyer should read and consider all possible risks and health implications that may occur as a result of early spaying/neutering. If such option is chosen, the Buyer assumes all related risks. To learn more about possible risks, visit the Reference page on our website
  5. A kitten/cat sold to an international Buyer without Breeding Rights will be altered before shipping

Treatment of Cat
  1. Under NO circumstances shall this kitten be de-clawed. Declawing is an amputation procedure and is often the cause of litter box problems (“inappropriate elimination”) and early arthritis symptoms. The Seller considers de-clawing as an abuse and an abandonment of the kitten/cat and would deny the sale if such intentions became known to the Seller. To learn more about the facts of de-clawing please refer to the Reference page on our website
  2. The kitten/cat should be fed a premium food at your choice. The Seller is feeding Royal Canin Dry, Royal Canin Canned Food according their age and Weruva Canned Food. If another brand chosen, please make a transition slowly to avoid a possible diarrhea
  3. Each kitten/cat needs frequent and kind human attention. Please provide generous amounts of play and exercise
  4. The kitten/cat should not be caged except for short-term confinements if necessary
  5. Under NO circumstances shall this kitten/cat be permitted to live outdoors
  6. Should the kitten/cat will be allowed to go outside the Buyer has to provide supervision or guarantee pet’s safety by using a harness / leash or a protected animal enclosure or carrier
  7. Under NO circumstances shall this kitten/cat be tattooed, pierced, or undergo any unnecessary “fashionable” body modification
  8. The new kitten/cat should be confined to a private room with toys, food, the kitten’s litter box, and plenty of human contact until familiar to his/her new surroundings

Waiver of Ownership of Cat or Permanent Transfer of Cat by Buyer
  1. The Buyer agrees that under NO circumstances will the kitten/cat EVER be sold or given to a pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory, or similar facility
  2. Should the Buyer, for any reason, including death, not be able to keep the above kitten/cat, the Seller will be given the first option of his/her rescuing
  3. This kitten/cat may not be sold or given away without written permission of the Seller to another owner

  5. Any legal action, which may arise under the terms of this contract, will be brought in the county/city of Seller’s residence and will be interpreted under, and governed by, the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada
